"Baby Hannah is here!"

It was great to spend the day with Ben, Jen and Hannah! Luke and Katelyn were sure excited to see their cute cousin. When Luke first saw Hannah he smiled and put his face really close to her's. Then Katelyn and Hannah practiced sharing toys. They got very good at it and had fun! Later, Luke showed Uncle Ben how he could put together his map puzzle and Tim got to hold his neice. She is very sweet!

Fun With Family

It was so fun to go swimming with Ben, Jen and Hannah! Hannah loves to play in the water. So do Luke and Katelyn. They all had fun splashing around and jumping in.

Junior Wildcat

Katelyn has found Luke's old U of A hat and loves to wear it!























She is getting very good at showing us where her ears are! She can also point to her eyes, nose and mouth.

Luke asked for paper and crayons yesterday when we got home from the doctor. A while later I asked him about his drawing. He pointed to the small circle in the middle he had colored in orange. "That's the baby." Then he explained that the green circles around the baby are "the mommy tummy." The blue part is just "where I colored blue." No picture by Luke would be complete without some blue in it!

Off To See The Doctor

Katelyn and Luke are great helpers at our many doctor's appointments! Luke always helps find the baby's heartbeat while Katelyn sits up on the table with me! Today the doctor told Luke to come feel his new baby sister's foot. When he put his hand on to feel it she kicked him!

Luke and Katelyn Go To The Movies

Today Luke and Katelyn saw their first movie in the theater! It was Ice Age. They watched the whole thing! Katelyn used my hand to cover her eyes for a few scary parts. They really liked having their own popcorn! Luke thinks that Scrat (the prehistoric squirrel) is hilarious. Katelyn liked to bounce to the Rusted Root song "Send Me On My Way" in the soundtrack.
She was really sad when some of her popcorn spilled!

Bittie

Katelyn's gotten very good at being her own little character. She had a great time stocking up her little cart with "snack sticks" at Trader Joe's...

she really liked picking out movies at the library (although she came home with Bob the Builder, which is one of Luke's favorites)

she loves to eat popcorn (just like big brother Luke)

and she really likes Luke's hat (which Luke won't have anything to do with).

Luke Swimming!

Luke is getting really good at swimming. He looks like an otter!

"We Were Hungry For Fruit."

I came into the kitchen to find these two eating peaches. They pushed a kitchen chair over to the counter to reach into our fruit bowl!

Katelyn helped herself to seconds. The pluot was yummy, too!
