Scott Parry graduated from Durham College of Applied Arts & Technology in Interior Design in 1991 of which he is now an “Alumni of Distinction”.  Upon graduation he went to work for The Global Group of Companies as an Architectural & Design representative.  During his tenure with Global he was heavily involved with ARIDO, (Association of Interior Designers of Ontario) where he sat on the Board of

 “It is still an exciting field to be in because of all the new and innovative products that we get to work with everyday”.

Management and was awarded an Honorary Membership.  In 1998 he Chaired the IIDEX show which is Canada’s largest interior design exposition and ran countless fundraisers for charities.

 

In 1999 he moved back home to Vancouver, BC and bought a furniture dealership selling to corporate offices in the lower mainland and continues to do so and still has a great passion for the job and the industry at large.  He looks forward to working with new customers as well as his current account list.

Doug Knapman is one of Vancouver’s most experienced service technicians, specializing in office furniture repairs & installations.

Having started learning the trade in mid 1980’s in Vancouver’s largest office furniture dealership, he not only learned repairs but upholstery, refinishing, touch ups and restorations of woods.

In 1989 he established a family business “Central Office Furnishings Repair Ltd” which is now one of Vancouver’s only full service mobile office furniture repair companies with certified installers.

 

With continued business success and growth by concentrating on customer service Doug established “Central Business Furnishings Ltd” in 2010 offering quality office furniture products most of which are Greenguard Certified.
