How can I close my free account?

For free users, please just delete all your files and / or personal info online. Do not use it any more, and the account will be deleted later in batch.

It was difficult to find how to end the account.

You have a free service account. In this case, just stop using the service and your account will be automatically disabled and then deleted after some time.

Requesting immediate deletion of your account would create unnecessary work for our support staff. If you do have such a need, please send an email to DriveHQ support and tell us why you want to cancel / delete your account.

Please close my account. The fact that you can't close you account easily is reason enough for me not to do a paid subscription which I had planned to do.

To me, although it looks to be a valuable service, the run around you give customers in closing an account makes your ethics questionable.

To cancel, please logon to your account and follow the below steps:

1. Go to the My Account (Account Details) section
2. From here, select Transaction History --> Current Subscription
3. On the current subscription page, you will be able to select any existing Order ID and "cancel"

Once you have done this, you will receive no further billing emails to from our system. Look forward to hearing back from you.

We received an email on a former employee's account that the account would be closed and content deleted.  We reset the password and logged in to see what if any content was on there and it is blank, so we would like to have the account closed now since the employee's email will be inactive shortly.
