 Hi all,

I'm using CMDftp.exe to make some basics scripting like uplad a file.

On some devices the exe file is not starting and cmd output the following

"

Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'netstandard, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=cc7b13ffcd2ddd51' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
   at DriveHQFTPClient.FTPLauncher.StartFTPClient(String[] args)
   at DriveHQFTPClient.Program.Main(String[] args)

"

The device I've verified this bad behaviour is:

microsoft windows 10 enterprise 2016 LTSB

10.0.14393 build 14393

CMDftp.exe requires .NetCore runtime. It seems your Windows 2016 server does not have .Net Core installed. Please download it from:

Download .NET Core 3.1 (Linux, macOS, and Windows) (microsoft.com)

https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/3.1

Please let us know if you still cannot solve the problem.

I seem to still get this same error on my 2016 server.    I installed  core 3.1 but I have the same situation.  Is there somthing else I can look at or try?

We have just released a new version CMDFTP.exe. You can download it from our software page:

https://www.drivehq.com/DriveHQ-KB/ftp/Command-line_FTP_Scripting.aspx

This version removed .Net Core dependency. You just need to have .Net Framework 4.6.1 (or higher) installed. We have tested it on Windows Server 2016 and it works fine. Please let us know if you still have any issues.
