George Palaganas RECIPE's Basil Finger Sandwiches RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
4 slices whole-wheat bread
8 teaspoons reduced-fat mayonnaise, divided
4 thick slic tomato
4 teaspoons sliced fresh basil
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
COOKING DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Cut bread into rounds slightly larger than your tomato—a biscuit cutter works well. Spread each slice with 2 teaspoons mayonnaise. Top with tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper.
---------
GINGER PLUM Porkchops
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Four 1-inch-thick pork chops (about 2 pounds total)
4 plums, halved and pitted
1 red onion, thickly sliced crosswise
Salt and pepper
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
Smart move
Skewer the red onion slices for easy flipping.
Directions:
1.Preheat a grill to medium-high. Drizzle the olive oil on the pork chops, plums and onion; season with salt and pepper. Arrange on the grill and cook, turning once, until the plums and onions are softened and just charred, 6 to 8 minutes, and the pork chops are golden-brown and cooked through, 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer the plums and onion to a medium bowl and cover tightly with foil; let stand for 10 minutes.
2.Coarsely chop the plums and onions and return to the bowl. Stir in the lemon juice, ginger and vinegar; season with salt and pepper. Spoon over the pork chops.

Dear Mr. President:
Greetings of a Happy Father's Day! Thank you for your "personalized" messages received through the website at http://www.whitehouse.gov/ and indeed you have made a difference
in becoming a "first hand president". You and the First Lady, Michelle Obama, are endeared to the hearts of many Americans and to Filipinos as well, like me. You have made meaningful Acts including the "Veteran and Servicemember Caregiver Support Act of 2009" and the "Expanding Entrepreneurship Act of 2009" that allows small entrepreneurs to borrow from the government's coffers directly. These are the meaningful Acts that we believe furthers the partnership between our generation and the next. A legacy that builds the future.
Again, congratulations and more power to come!
Truly,

Sometime soon I'm going to sit down for dinner with four of... the people who truly drive our 2012 campaign.
I'd like one of them to be you.
We're rejecting the traditional political fundraising strategy -- not taking any money at all from Washington lobbyists and special-interest PACs -- and putting our trust in millions of Americans owning a piece of this campaign.
Everyone on the other side is choosing the usual way of doing things in Washington -- accepting millions from PACs and special interests, and embracing the money-for-influence game that corrupts our politics.
This campaign is different, and I'm looking forward to four supporters like you joining me for a different kind of fundraising dinner.
If you make a donation of any amount between now and 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, June 30th, you will be automatically entered for a chance to join me and three other supporters for an intimate dinner for five. Please donate $5 or more today:
https://donate.barackobama.com/Dinner-with-Barack
We'll pay for your flight and the meal -- all you need to bring is your story and your ideas about how we can continue to make this a better country for all Americans.
Small donations from ordinary people set our campaign apart in 2008 -- allowing us to reject the influence of Washington lobbyists and PACs. Your support is not only the key to our success -- it's essential if we're going to have a political system and a government that are responsive to everyday Americans, not special interests.
I hope you will make a donation of $5 or more now to take part in this opportunity. Support this campaign and strengthen your commitment to our cause:
https://donate.barackobama.com/Dinner-with-Barack
We can continue to reject money-for-influence politics, and continue to change Washington together -- but it all begins with you.
Thank you for your support,
Barack

Dear Mr & Mrs Isaac Pearl:
Greetings! Please be informed that personally, I don't entertain caregiving jobs since I turned Ph.D. in 2007 ; an information I need to re-iterate for those who wish to hire me. Though I find the job satisfying since it brought me to places like British Hong Kong; Vancouver, BC-Canada; Langley,Washington-USA and Calgary, Alberta-Canada. But after turning Doctor of Philosophy in Geographical Studies, all I could do now is assist prospective employers to gain access to reliable caregiving manpower from the Philippines, Hong Kong, Canada and USA.

you have to submit your job order for the specified positions you have so that they can assess your qualifications to hire plus give you instructions on the requirements to get your prospective employee. Please give out your address in London plus your contact telephone numbers including fax number if any on your next e-mail. With the job order on the record of the British Council, we can send manpower from an accredited agency for interview with the British Council for the UK VISA. A constant communication between you and the applicant should follow until the VISA will be granted and the day he or she will arrive at Heathrow International Airport for you to pick him or her up towards your home.
You may also check-out the laws in your country, Spain, if it will be more advisable to file the job order from your country to the Spanish embassy in Manila and bring him or her with you to London instead of filing it in the United Kingdom(UK). Good luck in your quest and may God bless you and your family.

2 people killed in head on collision with semi truck
posted by: Paola Farer 7 years ago
ADAMS COUNTY - Several bad accidents snarled the morning commute Friday. The worst accident involved a head on collision between a car and a semi truck on Highway 2 in Adams County.
The two men inside the car were killed. The collision left the front end of the 2000 Nissan Sentra virtually underneath the tractor of the semi-truck. Both bodies had to be extricated from the car.
Investigators said the victims didn't have identification on them. The bodies were later identified as Eleazar Aldama-Morales, 25, of Aurora and Sylvester Valdez-Rosaf, 26, also of Aurora. Aldama-Morales was the driver.
The accident happened around 7:42 a.m. and Highway 2 was shut down between 104th and 96th Avenue for several hours.
The driver of the semi truck told state patrol officers that the car, which was headed northbound, veered out of its lane in front of him, went back into its lane of traffic, then veered out again and they collided.
The highway is two lanes at this location. The car was on the wrong side of the road when it hit the semi.
An accident involving seven vehicles, including an RTD bus, caused some major traffic backups Friday morning on eastbound Boulder Turnpike.
The accident happened at 6:41 a.m. near Federal Boulevard. Only one regular lane and the HOV lane were getting through for the next hour.
According to several witnesses on the RTD bus, a pickup truck swerved into the HOV lane, hitting the bus and causing it to swerve. The truck then hit a car and that started a chain reaction. Two people on the bus were injured, officials confirmed.
And a crash on westbound I-76 at 74th Avenue caused jams starting at Highway 85.
